J&B Services has been in the transportation services industry for over 30 years. We were founded in 1986 as a freight brokerage company by Jerry Bates. As we operated the brokerage division, we also have our own fleet of trucks that allowed us to service customers. With a background of driving, Jerry loved being a broker, but his heart was still in driving and it wasn’t long before he had purchased a few of his own trucks. Soon J&B Services quickly grew into a recognizable name known for providing reliable, on-time deliveries anywhere in the lower United States.
In 2002, Jerry sold the company to his son, Todd. who has continued his father service philosophy of providing the high quality services supported by the best drivers and the best equipment. Todd has continued to grow the company with a steady and controlled approach. This has proven to be an excellent approach even in the most turbulent of economic times.
Our rate structures are affordable and reliable due to our efficiency in managing the operational costs. Our customers know they can always depend our accuracy and reliability. In 2018, J&B Services was acquired by MILAN Supply Chain Solutions. MILAN’s operational philosophy is a cohesive blend to J&B Services as both companies are customer-centric organizations.
