Recruiting

We’re always on the look for new drivers! If you want to work for one of the best trucking services in the area, we’re interested in hearing from you. There are a number of reasons why we have such a low turnover rate. Our drivers know that they’re working for a company that’s going to treat them right and will make sure they have everything they need to do their jobs successfully. Here are some of the reasons why our drivers love working with J&B Services.

Competitive Pay Schedule

We make certain our drivers get paid regularly on a regular schedule. You won’t have to stress over when your next paycheck is coming. We do weekly payroll, unlike some other shipping companies that may only pay out once a month.

Obtainable Quarterly Bonuses and Benefits

If you’re an outstanding driver, you should be rewarded. We have a quarterly bonus system that is clearly defined and obtainable. If you excel, you’ll be handsomely rewarded. We also offer longevity pay and paid time off for vacations, holidays, and illnesses.

Generous Home Time

We know being on the road for many long hours and for days at a time can take its toll on your home life. We want to make certain that your relationships don’t suffer, so we give all of our drivers generous time at home in between jobs or when requested.

Paid Insurance and Retirement

Health, dental, and life insurance are all provided. All of our drivers can take advantage of our 401k program with company matching donations.

Great Vehicles

Our fleet is made up of some of the top Kenworth vehicles in operation today. The average age for our trucks is less than two years old, so you know it’s running well and has advanced equipment. Our vehicles go through a rigorous preventative maintenance program that helps keep CSA scores in check. J&B maintains one of the best scores for fleet maintenance in the country and we do that through the continued efforts of our drivers and the cooperation of our maintenance staff.

24 Hour Dispatch and Maintenance

Our 24-hour dispatch call in line means you always have a lifeline if there is an issue. We also operate a 24-hour in house maintenance call in line so you can always talk to someone if you’re having issues with your equipment while on the road.

No Touch Freight Jobs

90 percent of all of our jobs are no touch—you won’t be the one loading or unloading any of the freight. You’re a driver—that’s the job you were hired to do, and that’s what you’ll be doing!
